Key Responsibilities\n

  Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental health status through interviews, questionnaires, and clinical observations.

  Provide ongoing therapy sessions with clients to assist them in overcoming mental health challenges, including but not limited to anxiety, depression, substance use disorders, and eating disorders.

  Facilitate skill-building sessions and therapeutic interventions that empower clients to utilize coping strategies and enhance their resilience.

  Collaborate with other healthcare providers, such as psychiatrists for medication management, to provide comprehensive care if needed.

  Maintain accurate and timely electronic health records (EHR) to ensure compliance with legal, ethical, and licensing regulations.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your clients will represent a broad spectrum of ages and backgrounds, facing various mental health issues. Clients may be dealing with chronic illnesses, recent life transitions, or long-term therapy needs. It is crucial to demonstrate cultural competence and sensitivity towards the unique experiences and challenges faced by each individual, fostering trust and encouraging open communication.

Qualifications\n

  A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

  Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LMHC, LCSW, or LCSW-R within the state of New York.

  At least two years of relevant clinical experience, preferably in a mental health outpatient setting.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n

The salary range for this position is competitive, between USD 115,000 and 130,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
