Remote Immigration Associate Attorney

Associate Attorney (NIV)Erickson Immigration Group has a career opportunity for an experienced Associate Attorney (NIV) to join our expanding team in a fully remote capacity. EIG offers a competitive salary, excellent employee benefits, and ample opportunity for professional growth.Primary Responsibilities:Manage a high-volume caseload of employment-based non-immigrant visas, including (but not limited to) H-1B, TN, E-3, L-1, O-1, and associated dependent filings.Effectively manage client relationships and supervise a team of paralegals for high-volume clients.Conduct in-depth legal research to support client requests and projects.Explain sophisticated immigration concepts and present strategic solutions for clients.Draft and prepare letters and legal documents, typically based on established precedents.Assess and evaluate client’s immigrant visa eligibility.Support clients in immigration program management and compliance.Utilize web-based immigration case management systems and database continuously and accurately.Qualification Requirements:3+ years of business immigration attorney work experienceU.S. Juris Doctor degree (J.D.)Member of a state bar and in good standing with the associated state bar associationAbility to manage complex case strategies with company contacts and clientsUnderstanding of nuanced and complex immigration law concepts.Ability to review Paralegal work product carefully and promptlyEffective written and verbal communications skills, as appropriate for the needs of the audience (clients, governmental agencies, internal and external resources)Logic and reasoning to identify the strengths and weaknesses of alternative solutions, conclusions, and approaches to problemsStrong organizational & time management skills, with the ability to prioritizeAbility to generate work product with considerable accuracy and attention to detailExcellent interpersonal skills with a focus on delivering exceptional customer serviceOutstanding case/project management skillsWorks well in a team environmentAccepts and adapts to feedback regarding work performanceFluency of the English language in both written and verbal formsProficient in all Microsoft Office applications, including but not limited to Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook; and Case Management Systems – Salesforce (Litify), VisaTrax/INS Zoom and/or other Document Management Systems.Benefits:Casual work attirePaid time off, mental health days, parental leave, holidays, bereavement leave, and jury duty leaveAffordable medical/Rx, dental, and vision plansMonthly parking and commuting subsidyFirm-provided short-term and long-term disability and group life/AD&D insuranceHealth Savings Account (HSA) and Flexible Spending Account (FSA) options401(k) retirement savings plan with employer matchEmployee referral programEmployee Assistance Program (EAP) #J-18808-Ljbffr Erickson Immigration Group
