Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough initial mental health evaluations through virtual consultations, gathering comprehensive information to understand the client’s history, symptoms, and needs.

• Develop personalized treatment plans that incorporate therapeutic techniques and strategies tailored to individuals, couples, families, and groups.

• Facilitate engaging individual and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based methods to encourage participation and healing, and monitor client progress throughout their journey.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of mental health specialists, including psychiatrists, medical doctors, and social workers to design and implement coordinated treatment strategies.

• Document treatment progress meticulously using electronic health record systems such as AVATAR, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations and company policies.
\n
• Provide ongoing follow-up with clients, addressing any concerns and adjusting treatment plans to prevent relapse and promote recovery.
\n
• Guide and educate family members and caregivers on managing mental health challenges, ensuring a holistic approach to support your clients.
\n
• Stay informed about the latest advancements in psychotherapy and best practices from the American Mental Health Counselors Association (AMHCA) to enhance the quality of care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals facing varying degrees of mental health challenges, emotional distress, and behavioral issues. Your expertise in working with clients dealing with underlying physical health conditions and addiction disorders will be valuable. This position requires a sensitive approach to integrating different aspects of the clients' lives into their treatment, fostering an environment of trust and safety.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's or Doctoral Degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Georgia.

• Successful completion of the National Counselor Examination (NCE) and/or the National Clinical Mental Health Counseling Examination (NCMHCE).

• Strong counseling skills with demonstrated clinical insights.

• Proficiency in using electronic health record systems, particularly AVATAR.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills, enabling effective interaction with a wide range of clients and professionals.

Compensation and Benefits\n
