Revenue Cycle Manager

Responsible for leading and managing a team of billing and verifications specialists while supervising all billing operations at Peachtree Spine & Sports Physicians. Essential Duties and Responsibilities Provide performance feedback and document quarterly check-ins with all staff in the department. Train new hires and provide support to existing team members as needed. Coordinate cross training amongst team to ensure all roles are maintained. Work closely with Admin on end of month closing procedures. Identify and develop processes to streamline billing processes to industry standards. Consistently review work of billing staff to ensure accuracy, resolving inconsistencies as needed. Host monthly team meetings to review any process updates or changes. Participate in leadership meetings as scheduled. Communicate with management on problem solving via email and phone. Perform other duties as assigned. Minimum Qualifications (Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities) Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience. Prior experience leading and managing a team. Knowledge and experience using Epic EHR. Prior experience in a medical office or hospital environment. Medical terminology, CPT/ICD 9 and 10 coding experience; data entry and word processing skills. Advanced clerical training, including typing, basic filing skills, and fundamental understanding of office procedures. Ability to set priorities for completion of daily work schedule. Knowledge of all confidentiality requirements regarding patients and strict maintenance of it on all information. Strong verbal and written communication skills; excellent phone etiquette. Strong interpersonal skills; ability to work as part of a team or independently. Ability to maintain emotional stability to work in a fast-paced work environment.
