Key Responsibilities\n

As an LMFT at Prime Health Counseling, your daily responsibilities will include:

• Conducting individual and group therapy sessions with clients, focusing on their unique relational dynamics and family structures.

• Addressing a variety of mental health concerns such as anxiety, depression, grief and loss, and conflict resolution among family members.
\n
• Implementing evidence-based treatment plans tailored to the needs of each client, ensuring measurable improvement over time.

• Providing psycho-education to clients and families, helping them to understand and navigate their mental health challenges.
\n
• Documenting all therapy sessions thoroughly and accurately in compliance with HIPAA and organizational standards.
\n
• Collaborating closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure a comprehensive approach to each patient’s wellbeing.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will directly impact a diverse range of individuals, couples, and families, including:

• Adults experiencing life transitions, relationship issues, or emotional distress.
\n
• Children and adolescents facing challenges related to interpersonal dynamics, adjustment issues, and complex family structures.

Qualifications\n

To be considered for this role, candidates must possess:

• A valid License as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Virginia.

• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
\n
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, with a focus on building rapport and trust with clients.
