Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough evaluations and create tailored treatment plans for clients.

• Provide individual, family, couples, and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), psychodynamic therapy, and solution-focused brief therapy.

• Maintain accurate and updated clinical documentation, adhering to legal and ethical standards.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure comprehensive and cohesive client care.

• Engage in continuous professional development, including attending workshops and staying abreast of advancements in mental health research.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s degree or Doctoral degree in Counseling, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or a related field.

• Active and unrestricted licensure as a Professional Counselor (LPC) in the state of Texas.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in counseling is required.

• Strong understanding of legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.

• Proficient in using Electronic Medical Records (EMR) software and other related technologies.

• Exceptional interpersonal and communication skills to build rapport with clients from varied backgrounds.

• Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively within a healthcare team.

Preferred Experience\n

• Specialization in family therapy, couples therapy, trauma-informed care, or substance misuse treatment is highly preferred.
