Database Administrator - Hybrid

What you’ll need to succeed as a Database Administrator at XPO 2 years of database administration experience with Oracle Server Expertise in Oracle technologies, OCI, Exadata experience, Familiarity with monitoring tools like OEM Strong proficiency with SQL, Oracle partitioning, and knowledge of Oracle PL/SQL (2+ years) Experience with Linux and shell scripting. Focus on SQL queries, plan review, and database administration. Be responsible for daily monitoring of SQLs performance, up-time and drive resolution to technical issues. Support database performance in the context of applications by working with the infrastructure and application teams Act as a liaison between the project management, technical teams and IT leadership; assure best practices are defined and followed; drive consistency across applications and projects wherever possible Support deployment of new databases, new schemas and new database objects and ongoing maintenance of the same Contribute to defining application database standards by creating application data models About XPO XPO is a top ten global provider of transportation services, with a highly integrated network of people, technology and physical assets.
