Territory Account Manager- Seattle/Portland

Territory Account Manager (TAM) – Long‑Acting HIV Injectable Treatment Sales ViiV Healthcare is a global specialty HIV company focused on research and delivery of medicines for people living with, and at risk of, HIV. We are looking for an experienced professional to join our Long‑Acting HIV Injectable Treatment Sales team as a Territory Account Manager (TAM). The TAM will work with healthcare providers (HCPs) to promote adoption of new HIV treatment approaches, develop and execute strategic business plans, and drive sales performance within the assigned territory. Responsibilities Deliver results through exceptional sales and service to HCPs. Identify, target, and win new business by influencing HCPs to adopt new HIV treatment approaches. Engage with HCPs, nurses, staff, and administrators to understand clinical, organizational, and financial challenges and opportunities. Leverage data analytics, business acumen, and market expertise to identify high‑priority prospects. Prepare and execute customized business plans that help HCPs scale their treatment model. Coordinate and partner with cross‑functional team members (e.g., Clinical Nurse Educators, Field Reimbursement Managers) to deliver an integrated product experience. Maintain a portfolio‑based selling mindset and ensure cohesive communication across teams. Provide proactive customer service by anticipating and addressing HCP problems, needs, and requests. Adapt execution plans to meet performance goals using KPIs and business results. Develop and foster external relationships with key stakeholders and thought leaders. Act consistently with ViiV’s culture, values, and compliance expectations. Embrace ambiguity in a launch environment and identify opportunities for learning and growth. Escalate issues and risks when needed; demonstrate courage by speaking up. Follow key compliance and regulatory guidelines. Basic Qualifications BA/BS degree. 5+ years of pharmaceutical sales experience. 3+ years of specialty sales experience. Ability to travel domestically, including overnight travel; majority of time spent in market. Valid driver’s license. Preferred Qualifications Degree in Business, Marketing, or Life Sciences. Strong planning, organization, analytical, and problem‑solving skills. Experience influencing and collaborating cross‑functionally in a matrixed environment. Excellent written and oral communication skills. Experience in complex market access coverage situations. Experience working with HCPs to procure and manage cold‑chain treatment products. Knowledge of the HIV treatment and/or prevention markets. Bilingual in Spanish (preferred but not required). Experience partnering cross‑functionally within an integrated account team. Compensation and Benefits The US annual base salary for this position ranges from $145,500 to $242,500, depending on location, experience, and education. In addition, the role offers an annual bonus and eligibility to participate in a share‑based long‑term incentive program. Benefits include health care and other insurance coverage for employees and families, retirement plans, paid holidays, vacation, and paid caregiver/parental and medical leave.
