A well-established law firm in Garden City, NY is seeking an experienced Personal Injury Paralegal to join their team. This is a fully in-office position, Monday through Friday , ideal for a motivated professional who thrives in a fast-paced legal environment.
Responsibilities
- Manage personal injury cases from intake through settlement
- Prepare and organize legal documents, pleadings, discovery, demands, and correspondence
- Obtain and review medical records and bills
- Communicate with clients, insurance companies, medical providers, and attorneys
- Assist attorneys with case and trial preparation
- Maintain accurate and organized case files
- Track deadlines, appointments, and case status
- Handle day-to-day administrative and paralegal responsibilities related to personal injury matters
Required Qualifications
- 2+ years of Personal Injury Paralegal experience
- Strong knowledge of personal injury cases and procedures
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
- Ability to manage multiple cases and deadlines simultaneously
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office
- Must be reliable, professional, and comfortable working fully in-office
Preferred Qualifications
- SmartAdvocate experience
- 2+ years in personal injury paralegal roles
