In collaboration with medical providers, the RN provides pre‑operative and post‑operative nursing care and serves as an advocate for patients to support an unparalleled patient experience. The Neuro Progressive Care unit offers comprehensive, advanced care and treatment to minimize the effects of stroke. The unit is a Comprehensive Stroke Center and a Level 1 Time Critical Diagnosis Center of Excellence, treating more than 1,200 stroke patients each year.
