This is a 13-week contract position.

Schedule

Shift: 7P - 7:30A; every other weekend required.

Job Description

We are seeking an experienced Registered Nurse for our ICU unit. The ideal candidate will have demonstrated critical care experience and the ability to work collaboratively within a dynamic healthcare environment.

Responsibilities

• Provide high-quality nursing care to critically ill patients in the ICU.
• Perform essential nursing procedures including central lines and bedside tracheostomies.
• Document patient care utilizing the Meditech system.
• Function as a float nurse as needed, adapting to various areas within the ICU.

Required Experience / Certifications / Licensure

• Minimum of 2 years of critical care nursing experience.
• 2+ years of hospital/travel nursing experience.
• Current BLS and ACLS certification required.
• Active RN license in Texas; temporary licenses are not accepted.
• Preferred experience with Rotoprone and CRRT (Prismaflex).

Dress Code

• RN scrubs: Navy (undershirts and jackets in white, navy, or black only).
• No acrylic nails; maintain clean and natural nails without chipped polish.
• Hair must be off shoulders, natural color.
• Tattoos should be covered whenever possible.
• Visible piercings besides ears are prohibited.
