Job Summary Maintenance Manager oversees all maintenance operations, ensuring equipment, facilities, and systems are efficiently maintained, safe, and operational while managing staff, budgets, and preventive programs. Key Responsibilities Supervising Maintenance Staff: Hire, train, and evaluate technicians, ensuring adherence to safety and performance standards, and providing coaching and development opportunities. Preventive and Corrective Maintenance: Develop and implement maintenance schedules, perform inspections, and oversee repairs of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and automated systems. Budget and Resource Management: Track maintenance expenses, manage budgets, and ensure availability of spare parts, tools, and materials through forecasting and inventory control. Compliance and Safety: Ensure all maintenance activities comply with health, safety, and environmental regulations, Operational Efficiency: Monitor maintenance KPIs, optimize workflows, and implement continuous improvement initiatives to reduce downtime and costs. Vendor and Contractor Coordination: Liaise with external service providers for specialized maintenance tasks and equipment servicing. Emergency Response: Respond promptly to equipment failures or facility emergencies to minimize operational disruptions. Required Skills And Qualifications Technical Expertise: Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and control systems, as well as facility management and automated manufacturing processes. Leadership and Communication: Ability to lead teams, communicate effectively across departments, and resolve conflicts. Experience: Typically requires at least 3 years in industrial or manufacturing maintenance and 2 years in staff management. ProblemSolving and Organizational Skills: Capable of analyzing maintenance issues, prioritizing tasks, and implementing efficient solutions.
