Pinnacle Primary Health Care Inc. is searching for a dedicated and fully licensed Mental Health Therapist, including LPC, LMFT, or LCSW professionals, to join our team in Austin, Texas. As a Mental Health Therapist with us, you will operate in a remote setting, with opportunities to collaborate with a multidisciplinary team of healthcare providers. Although the primary work is conducted remotely, you will also engage with clients in our comfortable outpatient office when necessary. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations to determine clients' mental health needs, tailoring individualized treatment plans to achieve their specific goals.

• Provide evidence-based therapy services to individuals, families, and groups, utilizing various methods such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and other relevant modalities.

• Work collaboratively with case managers, psychiatrists, and other healthcare professionals to create a holistic care approach that addresses all aspects of a client’s health and well-being.

• Offer crisis intervention services to clients undergoing acute emotional distress, applying your training and sensitivity to de-escalate situations effectively.
\n
• Engage in community outreach efforts and educational initiatives to foster mental health awareness and reduce societal stigma around mental health issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your work will focus on serving a diverse patient population, including children, adolescents, and adults from various cultural and socioeconomic backgrounds. By working with clients facing challenges such as anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma, you will have the opportunity to deepen your clinical experience and develop cultural competence, ultimately contributing to better therapeutic outcomes for your clients.

Qualifications\n

• A valid, independent license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A master's degree or higher in Social Work, Psychology, Mental Health Counseling, or Marriage and Family Therapy.

• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills that foster meaningful therapeutic relationships with clients.

• Cultural competence and sensitivity to work effectively with clients from diverse backgrounds, enhancing their treatment experience.

• Strong organizational and time management skills to maintain accurate and timely documentation and follow-up on client progress.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience working in a community mental health setting or with diverse populations is highly preferred.

• Knowledge of trauma-informed care and a desire to continue learning about innovative therapeutic techniques.

Compensation and Benefits\n
