This position is primarily remote, allowing you the flexibility to conduct sessions with clients from the comfort of your own space. Key Responsibilities\n

• Establish and maintain a positive and trusting rapport with patients, creating a safe space for open communication.

• Conduct thorough assessments to diagnose mental health disorders, and develop personalized treatment plans tailored to individual needs.

• Provide individual and couples therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based practices, implementing therapeutic techniques aimed at fostering personal growth and improving relational dynamics.

• Regularly meet with clients to track progress, adjust treatment plans as needed, and provide ongoing support and motivation throughout their therapeutic journey.

• Utilize collaborative approaches involving interdisciplinary teams and refer clients to additional specialists when necessary, ensuring comprehensive care.

• Maintain accurate documentation of patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress reports in compliance with regulatory standards and organizational policies.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

Your role will involve working with a diverse population, including individuals coping with anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and significant life changes. You will provide supportive counseling to families and couples, addressing their unique challenges and helping them build healthier, more connected relationships. A segment of your focus will also include clients dealing with substance abuse issues and co-occurring mental health disorders, where your specialized training and expertise will be indispensable.

Qualifications\n

• A valid and active license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of New York.

• A Master's or doctoral degree in Marriage and Family Therapy, Counseling, Social Work, Psychology, or a related field.

Compensation and Benefits\n
