Certifications/Licenses:

BLS, CMA

Mandatory Experience:

Dermatology Medical Assistant-Certified (MA-C)
Schedule: 5x8hr (Mon - Fri /// OFF weekends)
Experience: 6 months of experience working as an MA-C in an adult/pediatric outpatient clinic setting is REQUIRED, dermatology setting is preferred
REQUIRED SKILLS:
Vital Signs:
- Obtain Vital Signs
Prepare for Exam:
- Positioning/Draping
- Record History/Medications/Allergies
Set Up and Assist with Procedures:
- Biopsy
- Dressing Change
- Set up aseptic / sterile procedure trays
Specimen Collection:
- Labeling of specimens
Professional Knowledge and Skills:
- Aseptic Technique
- Rooming Patients
- Suture Removal
- Wound care
Type of Facility: Dermatology Clinic
Charting: EPIC (experience REQUIRED)
