Job Responsibilities

• Perform day-to-day accounts payable activities for assigned clients, including invoice processing, coding and data entry.
  
• Review invoices and supporting documentation for accuracy, appropriate approvals and proper coding.
  
• Prepare and process vendor payments in accordance with established client procedures and payment schedules.
  
• Maintain accurate vendor records, including new vendor setup and updates to existing vendor information.
  
• Research and resolve invoice discrepancies, duplicate payments, outstanding items and other accounts payable issues.
  
• Respond to vendor and client inquiries regarding invoices, payment status and account activity.
  
• Assist with accounts payable reconciliations and month-end close activities.
  
• Maintain organized and complete supporting documentation in accordance with client and firm procedures.
  
• Monitor outstanding invoices and follow up with appropriate stakeholders to obtain necessary information or approvals.
  
• Work directly with client contacts and internal team members to ensure deadlines and service expectations are met.
  
• Identify opportunities to improve the efficiency and accuracy of accounts payable processes.
  
• Support additional outsourced accounting activities and special projects as needed.
  

Requirements

• Minimum of 2 years of accounts payable, accounting operations, bookkeeping or related experience.
  
• Experience processing invoices and vendor payments in a high-volume or deadline-driven environment.
  
• Experience with vendor setup, invoice coding, payment processing and accounts payable reconciliations.
  
• Proficiency with Microsoft Excel.
  
• Experience with accounting or accounts payable platforms such as BILL, Sage Intacct or similar systems.

Certain states require us to disclose the pay range and benefits summary for job openings. The compensation range for this position: $29.00 - $40.00. Compensation may vary based on skills, role, and location. Eligible employees at certain levels can participate in a discretionary long-term financial incentive plan, subject to plan participation rules.
