Our workweek aligns with traditional business hours, from 8:00 am to 5:00 pm, Monday through Friday, ensuring a balanced work-life integration. Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments for elderly clients, identifying individual care requirements, strengths, and areas needing support.

• Deliver tailored individual and group counseling sessions, focusing on the emotional challenges related to aging, loneliness, loss, and life transitions.

• Collaborate with multidisciplinary healthcare teams to develop personalized care plans that enhance the overall mental health and well-being of geriatric residents.

• Lead grief counseling sessions for residents and families dealing with loss, providing a supportive environment for open discussions about death and dying.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will primarily work with elderly individuals who are experiencing a range of mental health issues, including depression, anxiety, grief, and adjustment disorders. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Mental Health Counseling from an accredited institution.

• A valid Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) credential.

• A minimum of 4 years of recent experience in geriatric counseling and mental health support.

Compensation and Benefits\n
