Buckner Home Care Location: Dallas, TX - Hybrid Address: 12377 Merit Drive, Suite 900 Dallas TX 75201 Job Schedule : Full-Time We are seeking a Home Care Director to join our new home care service at Buckner. As a Home Care Director, you will lead the daily operations and growth of the home care location. This role is responsible for ensuring high-quality resident care, regulatory compliance, financial performance, employee development, and business growth. This position will build strong relationships with residents, families, referral partners, and the community while fostering a positive, high-performing team culture. What You’ll Do: Direct and oversee the daily operations, budgets, and performance goals of the location Promote a positive, accountable, and collaborative work environment Monitor operational and financial performance to improve efficiency and profitability. Oversee scheduling, billing, payroll, documentation, and administrative functions. Support ongoing caregiver training and professional development Recruit, train, coach, and develop staff and caregivers Develop and implement strategies to grow referrals, clients, and market presence Build and maintain strong referral partnerships with hospitals, physicians, senior living communities, social workers, and other referral sources Participate in community events, networking opportunities, and outreach activities Leverage digital marketing, social media, and community engagement initiatives to strengthen brand awareness and market growth. Track referral activity, marketing initiatives, and business development Partner with leadership on strategic growth initiatives Maintain accurate records and documentation Promote quality care, safety, and continuous improvement Build strong relationships with residents, families, caregivers and community partners Monitor resident satisfaction and caregiver retention and implement improvements as needed What You’ll Bring To The Team: Associates degree required Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration, Business, Marketing, Communications, or a related field preferred Five or more years of leadership experience in home care, healthcare, senior services, staffing, operations, sales, marketing or a related field Success leading teams, managing operations and driving business growth Experience building referral relationships and supporting community outreach preferred Strong leadership, coaching, and team-building abilities Strong organizational, problem-solving, and decision-making skills Experience managing budgets and operational performance Understanding of business development, marketing, and customer service practices Commitment to serving seniors and supporting caregivers Bilingual (English/Spanish) preferred but not required Experience with social media and digital marketing platforms Valid driver’s license, acceptable driving record, and required insurance Ability to travel locally and regionally as needed The above description reflects the details considered necessary to describe the essential functions of the job and should not be construed as a detailed description of all the work requirements that may be performed in the job.__ The same way we treat our employees is how we treat all applicants – with respect.
