Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough, trauma-informed mental health assessments to evaluate clients’ trauma histories and determine suitable treatment approaches.

• Design and implement individualized treatment plans aimed at promoting trauma recovery and resilience. These tailored plans will be responsive to the evolving needs of your clients.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) and Trauma-Focused Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (TF-CBT) to effectively address trauma symptoms.

• Facilitate individual and group therapy sessions, guiding clients in processing traumatic events, developing practical coping strategies, and fostering a sense of healing and empowerment.

• Work collaboratively with physician psychiatrists and other mental health professionals to ensure an integrated and holistic approach to client care.

• Provide immediate crisis intervention during trauma-related emergencies, helping clients to stabilize and feel safe.

• Educate patients and their families about trauma responses, healthy coping mechanisms, and navigate available community resources.

• Engage in case consultations and team meetings to enhance collaborative care and share insights, best practices, and ongoing learning within the team.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Valid licensure as an LCSW, LPC, or LMFT in the state of Texas.

• A strong foundation in trauma-informed care practices and an understanding of trauma-related disorders.

• Ability to implement trauma-focused therapies and therapeutic interventions effectively.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills, coupled with a non-judgmental and empathetic approach to therapy.

• Capability to maintain composure in high-stress situations, especially during client crises.

• Proficient in utilizing electronic health record (EHR) systems and other relevant technological tools.

• Ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team environment.

Preferred Experience\n

A minimum of 2 years of post-licensure clinical experience focusing on trauma recovery is preferred. Candidates with a solid background in conducting trauma-informed assessments and delivering targeted interventions will be highly regarded.

Compensation and Benefits\n
