Back Accounts Payable Specialist – Accounts Payable in Salem, New Hampshire. Temp to Perm. Pay: $26.00 - $30.00 per hour. KBW has partnered with a multi‑entity organization and is seeking an Accounts Payable Specialist to join their accounting team. This is a great opportunity to join a company that has experienced significant growth over the years and offers room to grow within a larger organization. The Accounts Payable Specialist will be responsible for processing high‑volume AP invoices, reviewing documentation and approvals, reconciling vendor statements, and supporting weekly payment processing. The ideal candidate will have strong AP experience, excellent attention to detail, and comfort working within an ERP system. Responsibilities Process accounts payable invoices on a weekly basis Review invoices for proper documentation, purchase orders, and approvals prior to payment Work with vendors and the purchasing department to resolve invoice discrepancies Reconcile payables in preparation for check runs Reconcile vendor statements and research outstanding items Maintain sales and use tax calculations and related accounting records Communicate professionally with internal teams, vendors, and external contacts Qualifications 2+ years of experience in a high‑volume accounts payable environment Working knowledge of ERP systems required Larger ERP experience preferred Familiarity with Microsoft Office products Strong attention to detail and accuracy Ability to manage deadlines and work in a fast‑paced environment Strong communication skills and ability to build positive working relationships Ability to work independently while following established processes and procedures This is an onsite position in Salem, NH.
