Leveraging decades of expertise and a commitment to excellence, we bridge the gap between groundbreaking research and ensuring that transformative therapies reach those who need them most.Franklin Biolabs, Inc. is in search of a Director, Project Management who oversees the management of the critical path activities at Franklin Biolabs from fully executed statements of work (SOW) to ensuring the Project Management team has the necessary information once deliverables are met, ensuring timely invoicing. As the primary point-of-contact for customers, the Director will also ensure scope execution, initiation, completion, etc. within the agreed and/or contracted timelines and strengthen relationships and communicate updates.Key responsibilities include:Generation of meeting agendas, tracking and circulation of meeting notes, and distribution of action items, including routine follow-up to ensure timely progress and completion.Proactive and close communication within cross-functional teams ensure timely action is taken with potential deviations that could affect deliverables.Proactively identify and prioritize opportunities and risks, develop and monitor action and mitigation plans, communicate analysis and recommendations to executive leadership.Track and utilize lessons learned and best practices to develop/improve metrics, processes, and communications, including implementation of initiatives used to define strategy, establish goals, and archive deliverables. Including but not limited to supporting the administration and maintenance of cloud-based SaaS tools common to business operations (e.g. Smartsheet, Salesforce)Develop, maintain, and strengthen relationships with Customers of Franklin Biolabs.Partner closely with Business Unit Leads and Finance to ensure timely invoicing, assist with revenue recognition and project profitability, and provide routine updates on opportunities and risks to assist with forecasting.Serve as a member of the Bioanalytical and Vector CMC leadership teams that oversees operational activities for activities performed at Franklin Biolabs.Support additional departments including but not limited to Legal and Marketing with new client interaction and onboarding as required.Education and Experience:Minimum of BS/BA degree in life sciences, biomedical engineering, or related field required.5-7 years of direct related experience in project management, operations, or equivalent experience.Knowledge, Skills and Abilities:Knowledge of regulatory compliance, expectations and agencies (USDA, OLAW, GLP, AAALAC).Strong analytical and organizational skills.Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to influence and negotiate through conflicting situations.Self-directed individual with the ability to perform in a fast-paced environment with limited direction, competing priorities under tight deadlines.Ability to communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing, to interact with team members, clients, vendors and other third parties.Ability to collaborate effectively with individuals across various disciplines to ensure alignment.Ability to use digital communication tools (video conferencing, chat platforms etc.) to effectively collaborate with team members in hybrid and remote settings.Travel:Ability to travel domestically and/or internationally up to 5% of the time, depending on the needs of the project, the client and the company.Ability to accommodate evening, overnight or weekend travel, including potential extended trips to attend training, meetings, conduct fieldwork, or meet with clients.On-Site:This position requires hybrid on-site presence at our Discovery Labs locationVision:Ability to distinguish between different colors (normal color vision).Ability to see clearly at various distances.Adequate near vision for reading documents or lab equipment.Ability to focus and maintain concentration in tasks for extended periods.Ability to work in environments with varying light conditions.Company Benefits:401(k)401(k) MatchingHealth insuranceDental insuranceVision insuranceHealth Savings Account and Flexible Spending AccountPaid Time-OffCompany Paid HolidaysPersonal Floating HolidaysShort-Term and Long-Term DisabilityLife and AD&D insurance (Group & Voluntary)
