Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Nursing (BSN) preferred
• Acute care facility experience preferred
• Registered Nurse (RN) licensure in the state of practice: Required
• Basic Life Support (BLS) certification from an approved vendor: Required
• AHA-ACLS or ARC-ALS certification: Required
• AHA-PALS or ARC-PALS certification: Required
• At least two years of recent experience in the field

Responsibilities

• Deliver coordinated nursing care for patients according to established standards of care.
• Supervise and direct the activities of nursing staff and coordinate care with other disciplines.
• Conduct assessments and develop care plans to attain patient outcomes.
• Implement care plans, promote health, and ensure a safe environment.
• Evaluate patient progress and collaborate with healthcare providers and families.
• Provide learning opportunities for patients and family members.
