Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive psychosocial assessments to evaluate the emotional, social, and financial needs of students.

• Provide both individual and group counseling services, focusing on issues like anxiety, depression, coping strategies, and grief.

• Facilitate connection between students and family support services, and help develop viable discharge plans to promote continued growth post-therapy.

• Actively collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including teachers, school psychologists, and healthcare providers, to optimize student outcomes and enhance the quality of student life.

• Participate in developing and implementing school-wide mental health initiatives and educational workshops aimed at increasing awareness and resources for mental health.

• Maintain accurate, up-to-date records of patient interactions and progress in compliance with legislative and organizational standards.

This role primarily serves students across various educational backgrounds, addressing a spectrum of mental health challenges, including learning difficulties, emotional disturbances, and crisis management needs. Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program.

• Current active licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of California.

Preferred Experience\n
