SENIOR RADIOLOGIC TECHNOLOGIST, CORRECTIONAL FACILITY (SPECIALIST) - CALIFORNIA MEDICAL FACILITY

Senior Radiologic Technologist, Correctional Facility (Specialist) Position located at California Medical Facility (CMF) in Vacaville, CA, Solano County. Limited Term 12 months; may be extended up to 24 months or become permanent. Responsibilities Under the clinical direction of the Chief Medical Executive and direct administrative supervision of the Chief Support Executive or Correctional Health Services Administrator I/II, the Senior Radiologic Technologist performs the most difficult technical radiological work, provides lead direction to Radiologic Technologists and lower‑level staff, and supervises the conduct of incarcerated workers while maintaining order and ensuring safety of persons and property. Minimum Qualifications Possession of a current valid certificate as a certified Radiologic Technologist in diagnostic radiologic technology issued by the California State Department of Health Services. Experience: Option I: One year of experience performing the duties of a Radiologic Technologist in a Correctional Facility within California state service. Option II: Three years of experience, including training in radiologic techniques and methods under an accredited medical radiologist. Option III: One year of experience as a radiologic technologist and successful completion of a two‑year training program in radiologic technology approved by the Council on Medical Education and Hospitals of the American Medical Association in collaboration with the American College of Radiology.
