Position Summary

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Salesforce Developer with 7+ years of experience in Salesforce development, configuration, integration, and full lifecycle application development.

The ideal candidate will have strong hands-on experience with Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), JavaScript, SOQL/SOSL, Salesforce Flows, REST/SOAP APIs, and enterprise integrations . The candidate must also have significant experience with Salesforce DevOps, CI/CD, and release management using Copado and Git .

The Senior Salesforce Developer will work closely with business stakeholders, program offices, Product Owners, QA teams, and technical teams to analyze requirements, design solutions, develop Salesforce applications, manage integrations, and support deployments and releases.

Required Education

• Bachelor's degree or higher from an accredited college or university in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related technical field .

• Salesforce Administrator Certification

Required Qualifications

• 7+ years of experience in Salesforce development and full lifecycle application development.
• 7+ years of experience with Salesforce programmatic development, including:
  • Apex Classes
  • Apex Triggers
  • Batch Apex
  • Queueable Apex
  • Lightning Web Components (LWC)
  • JavaScript
  • SOQL/SOSL
• 7+ years of experience with Salesforce declarative configuration, including:
  • Flows
  • Custom Objects

  • Security and Permission Sets
• 5+ years of experience with Salesforce integrations and web services, including:
  • REST APIs
  • SOAP APIs
  • Bulk API 2.0
  • Metadata API
• 5+ years of experience with Salesforce DevOps, CI/CD, and release management using Copado and Git .
• 7+ years of experience working through the full SDLC, including requirements analysis, design, development, testing, deployment, and production support.
• Strong experience working in an Agile/Scrum environment .
• Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Key Responsibilities

Salesforce Development

• Design, develop, configure, test, and deploy Salesforce solutions.
• Develop scalable and maintainable Apex Classes, Triggers, Batch/Queueable processes, and LWC components.
• Develop and maintain Salesforce Flows, Custom Objects, Validation Rules, Sharing Rules, and Security/Permission Sets.
• Develop efficient SOQL/SOSL queries and follow Salesforce development best practices.
• Build solutions that meet technical, performance, security, and business requirements.

Integration & Web Services

• Design and develop integrations between Salesforce and external enterprise systems.
• Develop and consume REST and SOAP web services.
• Work with Bulk API 2.0 and Metadata API.
• Analyze integration requirements and recommend appropriate technical solutions.
• Troubleshoot integration issues and ensure reliable data exchange between systems.

DevOps, CI/CD & Release Management

• Manage Salesforce deployments using Copado and Git .
• Support Salesforce CI/CD pipelines and automated deployment processes.
• Manage source control, branching, merging, deployment validation, and release activities.
• Coordinate Salesforce releases across development, testing, staging, and production environments.
• Troubleshoot deployment issues and ensure successful releases.

Requirements & Technical Design

• Gather and analyze business and technical requirements.
• Translate functional requirements into detailed technical specifications.
• Develop technical designs and recommend appropriate architectural solutions.
• Evaluate system landscapes and identify technical gaps.
• Design and implement end-to-end Salesforce solutions.

Testing & Quality Assurance

• Develop and execute Apex unit tests with high code coverage.
• Support QA, integration, regression, and UAT testing activities.
• Troubleshoot defects and implement corrective solutions.
• Validate Salesforce deployments and ensure solutions meet defined requirements.
• Support production troubleshooting and issue resolution.

Agile / SDLC

• Participate in Agile/Scrum ceremonies, including sprint planning, daily stand-ups, backlog refinement, sprint reviews, and retrospectives.
• Collaborate with Product Owners, Business Analysts, QA teams, developers, and business stakeholders.
• Provide technical guidance throughout the application development lifecycle.
• Prepare technical documentation and communicate solutions effectively to technical and non-technical stakeholders.
