Key Responsibilities\n

• Evaluate clients' mood disorder symptoms by assessing their intensity, frequency, and duration.

• Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans that reflect their unique needs, preferences, and goals.

• Utilize evidence-based modalities, including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), to support client progress effectively.

• Educate clients and families on mood disorders, potential treatment alternatives, and self-care practices.
\n
• Monitor and track client progress, making necessary adjustments to treatment plans based on ongoing evaluations.
\n
• Collaborate with psychiatrists and medical specialists to provide integrated care for clients.
\n
• Stay informed about the latest research and advances in mood disorders to continuously improve treatment strategies.
\n
• Maintain accurate and confidential documentation in compliance with legal and ethical standards.
\n
• Participate actively in team meetings, case consultations, and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.

• Advocate for clients' mental health needs and work towards reducing stigmatization associated with mental health issues.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse clientele, primarily focusing on individuals and families dealing with the complexities of relationships and divorce. Your empathetic approach, combined with a nonjudgmental attitude, will be integral in helping clients navigate their mental health challenges and foster positive interpersonal relationships.

Qualifications\n

• Active and valid state license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).

• A Master's or Doctorate degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related field.

• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish a secure therapeutic relationship with clients.

• Demonstrated empathy and a supportive demeanor are essential when addressing clients’ experiences and struggles.

• Strong organizational skills and the ability to manage a varied caseload efficiently.

Preferred Experience\n

Compensation and Benefits\n
