Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct thorough mental health assessments to identify patient needs, strengths, and areas for growth, establishing tailored treatment plans based on each evaluation.

• Utilize evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT) and solution-focused therapy to provide effective interventions for individuals, couples, and families.

• Organize and facilitate psychoeducational and support groups, creating a comfortable space for participants to share experiences related to common mental health issues.

• Work in tandem with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated, holistic patient care, ensuring a cohesive treatment approach.

• Provide crisis intervention services and support during mental health emergencies, ensuring patient safety and stabilization.

• Educate patients about their mental health conditions, available treatment options, and community resources to empower them and facilitate informed decision-making.

• Maintain accurate, confidential patient documentation in compliance with legal regulations and ethical standards, ensuring continuity of care through meticulous record-keeping.

• Actively engage in case consultations, team meetings, and professional development activities to hone skills and share knowledge.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

In this role, you will be working with a diverse client population, representing a wide range of ages, backgrounds, and mental health challenges. Your expertise will be instrumental in treating individuals managing chronic mental health disorders, as well as those facing short-term issues. You will play a pivotal role in guiding these individuals toward improved emotional, psychological, and social well-being.

Qualifications\n

• Must possess a Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• Current and valid licensure as either an LMFT, LPC, or LCSW in the state of Oregon.

• Comprehensive understanding of mental health disorders and evidence-based therapeutic approaches.

• Demonstrated ability to conduct thorough mental health assessments and develop comprehensive treatment plans.

• Experience providing individual and group therapy to a range of client populations.

Preferred Experience\n

• Previous experience in an outpatient mental health setting is highly desirable.
