The Medical Assistant III may administer intramuscular, subcutaneous, or intradermal injections, perform skin tests, administer oral medication, perform venipunctures, and perform skin punctures for blood specimens.Minimum RequirementsHigh School graduate or GED, along with a Medical Assistant diploma, is required.A California phlebotomist license is preferred.Minimum of 4 years of experience, preferredMinimum of 1 year of experience working with a frail or elderly population is preferred.Bilingual preferred.A minimum requirement of a valid BLS certification or higher, following the American Heart Association (AHA) or the American Red Cross guidelines.Compensation$27.25 - $32.02 hourlyCompensation DisclaimerActual salary offers are considered by various factors, including budget, experience, skills, education, licensure and certifications, and other business considerations.
