Senior Living Sales Director

An established Senior Living provider in San Diego County is seeking an experienced Sales Director to join a thriving senior living community. This leadership role is responsible for driving occupancy through relationship-based sales, community outreach, and exceptional customer service while helping older adults and their families navigate an important life transition. What You'll Do

• Drive occupancy by managing the entire sales process, from lead generation through move-in.

• Build and maintain a strong pipeline of prospective residents through outreach, networking, referrals, and follow-up.

• Respond promptly to inquiries, conduct personalized community tours, and guide prospective residents and families through the decision-making process.

• Develop and implement strategic sales and marketing plans that support occupancy goals.

• Build relationships with healthcare professionals, referral partners, and community organizations to generate qualified leads.

• Collaborate with community leadership to ensure a seamless move-in experience for new residents.

• Coordinate with marketing partners to support advertising, events, and community outreach initiatives.

• Plan and participate in events that engage current residents while attracting prospective residents and their families.

• Conduct regular competitive market analysis and recommend strategies to strengthen the community's market position.

• Track sales activity, maintain accurate prospect records, prepare reports, and monitor marketing-related budgets.

• Partner with community leadership to achieve occupancy, customer service, and business objectives.

• Provide operational leadership support as needed.

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Communications, Public Relations, or a related field preferred.

• Three or more years of sales and marketing experience, preferably within senior living, healthcare, hospitality, real estate, or a related service industry.

• Demonstrated success achieving sales goals and building strong referral networks.

• Excellent communication, presentation, and relationship-building skills.

• Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

• Proficiency with CRM systems and Microsoft Office applications.

Physical Requirements:

This position requires regular use of a computer and may involve occasional lifting of up to 20 pounds, as well as bending, reaching, and walking throughout the community. Actual pay within the posted range will be determined based on relevant experience, qualifications, and applicable state and local wage laws. This position is also eligible for performance-based incentive compensation tied to occupancy and move-in goals.
