Key Responsibilities\n

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, you will take on various critical responsibilities that directly contribute to patient care and organizational success, including:

• Conducting comprehensive assessments and developing individualized treatment plans tailored to the needs of clients.

• Providing consultation in the creation of pre-crisis and crisis management plans, risk assessment strategies, and behavioral guidelines.

• Completing timely documentation in compliance with regulatory standards to ensure accessible patient records.

• Utilizing evidence-based screening tools and methodologies to evaluate client progress and treatment efficacy.
\n
• Collaborating with case managers, psychiatrists, and other healthcare providers to implement positive behavior support plans in a multidisciplinary context.

• Actively participating in licensing and accreditation processes, ensuring that our services meet all applicable standards.

• Acting as a liaison between clients and relevant service systems, including state agencies and community partners, to enhance service delivery.

• Engaging in professional development by attending conferences, workshops, and other educational opportunities to promote personal and professional growth.

• Contributing to the agency’s mission by integrating core values and principles into everyday practice.

• Assisting the Clinic Director with additional duties as required.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

You will work with a diverse client population that includes individuals seeking support for emotional health challenges, substance use disorders, as well as developmental and acquired brain disabilities. Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in a behavioral health field is required.

• An independent LMHC license issued by the state board is mandatory for this position.

Preferred Experience\n
