Position Details Working Title: Office Support Administrator Classification: ANALYST II Salary: $6,031.00 – $7,775.00 Number of Positions: Multiple Work Location: Inyo County Telework: In Office Job Type: Permanent, Full Time Job Code #: JC-525293 Position #: 909-206-5393-911 Job Description and Duties Under the direction and supervision of a Senior Transportation Engineer, the incumbent performs professional‑level technical and analytical administrative work, including preparing equipment purchases (IT and non‑IT), service contracts, and office supply purchases. The role also manages all day‑to‑day administrative functions of the office, serves as the supervisor’s support for personnel actions related to hiring, acts as the office training coordinator, records custodian, equipment and vehicle coordinator, and handles lease vehicle coordination, cell phone management, vendor payments, bill processing with outside agencies, and interaction with the HQ Accounting Office. Additionally, the incumbent prepares and maintains personnel information and training records. Special Requirements Possession of a valid driver’s license is required when operating a State‑owned or leased vehicle. Eligibility for Hire Eligibility may be determined by the score on the ANALYST II exam. Candidates who do not have current eligibility (e.g., transfer, permissive reinstatement, or voluntary demotion) and/or are new to State civil services employment must be on the State examination list to be eligible. Qualifications Verification of possession of minimum qualifications prior to interview or appointment; transcripts, diplomas, or equivalency evaluations may be required.
