This position offers the flexibility of remote work while ensuring that our therapists remain connected with an outpatient office structure for consultations and team meetings. While the schedule primarily spans Monday to Friday from 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM, flexibility in working hours may be necessary to accommodate specific patient needs, including occasional evening shifts.

Key Responsibilities\n

The selected candidate will be responsible for a variety of tasks aimed at assessing and enhancing the mental health of our clients. Responsibilities include:

• Conducting in-depth mental health assessments to ascertain psychological well-being and establish appropriate treatment strategies.

• Crafting tailored treatment plans that reflect individual patient needs and specific diagnoses, ensuring evidence-based approaches.

• Delivering therapeutic interventions across multiple modalities, including but not limited to Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic therapy.

• Facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions that focus on emotional exploration, personal growth, and the enhancement of coping skills.

• Collaborating closely with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to provide integrated, holistic care, ensuring comprehensive support for all patients.

• Providing crisis intervention and immediate support during mental health emergencies, demonstrating strong crisis management skills.

• Educating patients and their families on mental health conditions, treatment pathways, and available community resources to empower informed decision-making.

Qualifications\n

To succeed in this role, candidates should possess:

• A Master's or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as an LCSW-C, LCPC, LMFT, or LCMFT to practice in Maryland.

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience, demonstrating proficiency in clinical assessment and treatment.

• Skills in conducting thorough mental health assessments and developing actionable treatment plans based on accurate diagnoses.

Compensation and Benefits\n
