South Coast Psychotherapy Center is actively seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Clinical Social Worker to join our team in a remote outpatient setting. The ideal candidate will be responsible for providing essential mental health services to diverse client populations, assisting those impacted by challenges such as neglect, child abuse, domestic violence, mental health disorders, and parental substance abuse. This is a full-time position, with hours from 8 AM to 5 PM, Monday through Friday, allowing for a structured work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients via phone or video calls to gather relevant information about their circumstances and needs.

• Support clients in finding and participating in beneficial activities that promote their mental health and well-being.

• Maintain accurate and detailed records of client interactions and interventions, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Establish rapport with clients and their families to provide ongoing support, including crisis intervention when necessary.

• Make referrals to other community services and agencies, ensuring clients have access to comprehensive care.

• Participate in regular training and supervision sessions to enhance therapeutic skills and stay updated with best practices.

• Monitor clients for signs of child abuse or other serious concerns, taking appropriate actions when required.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This position focuses on working with clients affected by various psychosocial stressors, including mental health issues, family conflict, and substance abuse. Our clients come from diverse backgrounds, and you will play a crucial role in assessing their needs and connecting them to the appropriate resources within the community. You will be instrumental in creating safe spaces for clients to share their concerns and challenges.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's degree in Social Work, Psychology, or a related mental health field.

• Current licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in the state of Kansas.

• Strong active listening skills, with the ability to respond empathetically and without interruption.

• Knowledge of best practices for crisis intervention and the capacity to remain calm in high-stress situations.

• Proficiency in digital tools, including Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint) and other platforms for virtual therapy sessions.

• Valid driver's license for potential in-person client consultations, if necessary.

Compensation and Benefits\n

We offer a competitive salary in the range of USD 80,000 to 100,000 per year, reflective of your experience and qualifications. Additional compensation may be earned through monthly productivity bonuses.
