Regional Sales Manager, Advanced Surgery - New York

Job Overview As a Regional Sales Manager, you represent Baxter and lead the Advanced Surgery portfolio of products, building trust with healthcare professionals and driving business results across your region. Responsibilities Leading a dynamic team of Strategic Account Managers (SAMs), Territory Business Managers (TBMs), and Associate Reps (ARs) in the assigned sales region to achieve and exceed target budget. Developing an integrated regional business plan, including targeting, forecasting and resource allocation. Assisting TBMs and SAMs in the business planning process for their territories, aligning on goals, objectives, strategy, and execution for accounts. Understanding business at the regional level and providing quarterly sales operating reviews to sales leadership. Holding weekly 4 Discipline of Execution (4DX) calls with the region to share weekly priorities and hold the team accountable. Spending field time with the team to strategize, coach, train, and develop employees. Qualifications Bachelor's degree required with 5+ years of sales management experience within the medical device/healthcare space; experience in an operating room environment. Must have a valid driver's license. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, both written and oral, as well as presentation skills. Strong business acumen, including knowledge of sales processes and market dynamics, and ability to make informed business and forecast decisions. Individual must live within the current geography or be willing to relocate; familiarity with the posted territory is strongly desired. At least 50% travel required; may involve visits to remote or urban areas individually or with other personnel; position will have an assigned geographic territory spanning several states. Compensation The estimated base salary for this position is $144,000 to $198,000 annually, with potential for commission and long‑term incentive. Pay is based upon location, skills, expertise, and experience, and may adjust according to market data.
