Key Responsibilities

As a Physical Therapist at Motion Well, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting detailed consultations with patients to assess their physical condition, limitations, and symptoms.
• Diagnosing movement dysfunctions and design customized treatment plans to improve patient mobility and function.
• Instructing patients in therapeutic exercises, ensuring that techniques are performed safely and effectively.
• Applying hands-on methods such as manual therapy and modalities to alleviate pain and promote healing.
• Guiding patients in the proper use of assistive devices such as wheelchairs, walkers, and other rehabilitation equipment.
• Maintaining accurate patient records, tracking progress against established goals while adjusting treatment plans as necessary.
• Providing education and resources to patients and families regarding home exercise programs and self-care strategies.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our patient population includes individuals across all age groups and diagnoses improving their physical function, rehabilitation from injuries, or recovery from surgeries. You will work closely with patients who have various conditions, including orthopedic injuries, neurological disorders, and post-operative complications. Qualifications

To excel in this role, candidates must possess the following qualifications:

• A Doctorate Degree in Physical Therapy or a related field.
• Current state license to practice as a Physical Therapist in Virginia.
