Work Environment

This role is performed onsite, primarily within our clients' homes, allowing for a flexible work schedule. You will have the autonomy to choose your working hours, providing a balance that supports your personal and professional life. We operate Monday through Friday, allowing weekends free for personal engagement or rest.

Key Responsibilities

• Evaluate and assess patients in their home environments, taking into account their unique challenges and surroundings that may affect recovery.
• Design and implement personalized treatment plans utilizing a variety of techniques including therapeutic exercises, manual therapy, and modern rehabilitative equipment.
• Utilize effective communication to educate patients and their families about treatment goals, procedures, and the importance of adherence to interventions.
• Regularly document patient progress and responses to treatments, adjusting plans as needed to ensure maximum therapeutic effectiveness.
• Work collaboratively with caregivers and other healthcare professionals to coordinate care, setting mutual goals that enhance patient recovery.
• Involve patients in choosing assistive devices and rehabilitation tools to promote independence and self-care practices in their daily lives.
• Commit to ongoing professional development by attending workshops and engaging with professional literature.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Our physical therapists work with a diverse patient population, including children and adults recovering from injuries, surgeries, and chronic conditions. This role requires adaptability and sensitivity to different age groups and health contexts, ensuring that each patient receives tailored care that meets their specific needs.

Qualifications

• Must possess a Bachelor's Degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited institution.
• State licensure in Physical Therapy is mandatory for practice in Virginia.
• Strong verbal and written communication skills are essential for effective collaboration with patients and colleagues.
• Proficiency with basic computer applications and documentation systems is required.
• A willingness to learn and be flexible in a dynamic work environment.

Preferred Experience

• While prior experience is not required, any relevant clinical placement or internship experience is a plus.
• Experience in home health settings or community-based care is highly valued.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $100,000 to $120,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our comprehensive benefits package includes:
