Work Environment

As a Physical Therapist at Active Life Physiotherapy, you will work primarily in the homes of our patients across the Fort Myers area, providing a unique opportunity to influence patient recovery in familiar surroundings. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct comprehensive evaluations of patients' physical conditions and functional abilities through in-depth assessments.
• Formulate and implement individualized treatment plans that reflect each patient's specific needs, preferences, and rehabilitation objectives.
• Deliver hands-on therapy encompassing a range of techniques such as manual therapy, therapeutic exercises, and the application of various modalities.
• Provide education and resources to patients and their families, ensuring they understand and are engaged in their own recovery process through home exercise programs and lifestyle modifications.
• Regularly monitor, document, and evaluate patient progress, making timely adjustments to treatment plans based on observed outcomes.
• Collaborate with physicians, occupational therapists, and other healthcare staff to ensure coordinated, holistic patient care.
• Maintain meticulous and compliant medical records, ensuring up-to-date documentation as per regulatory standards.
• Stay current with evolving physical therapy practices and integrate progressive techniques and methodologies into your therapeutic approach.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The patient population is diverse, catering to individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, chronic pain conditions, and neurological impairments. As a Physical Therapist, you will work with clients of various ages, from children to elderly patients, each presenting unique challenges and opportunities for healing and rehabilitation. The focus is on delivering personalized treatment plans that address both physical and psychological aspects of recovery to enhance patient engagement and success rates.

Qualifications

• Graduate degree in Physical Therapy (Doctorate or Master's) from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid Physical Therapist license in the state of Florida.
• A minimum of three years of hands-on experience in physical therapy or related rehabilitation fields.
• Strong clinical skills with proficiency in applying various therapeutic techniques to meet individual patient needs.

Compensation and Benefits

This position offers a competitive salary in the range of $120,000 to $130,000 annually, supplemented by a full benefits package that includes health insurance, retirement plans, and paid time off.
