Senior Human Resources Generalist

The Senior Human Resources Generalist contributes to the overallgoals and objectives of SSTAR’S Human Resources Team, as well as,supporting daily HR operations by administering HR programs,recruiting and retaining talent, ensuring compliance with employmentlaws, and promoting employee engagement. This role partners withleadership on workforce planning, employee relations, benefits,compensation, performance management, and HR initiatives whilesupporting recruitment, onboarding, HR reporting, audits, and process improvements. Salary: $67,017 – $82,014 per year ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Support the implementation of Human Resources (HR) policiesand programs. Administer or work in conjunction with subject matter experts(CHRO & Director of HR) regarding HR policies and procedures,including employee benefits, wage increases, retirement, etc. Source, recruit, interview and select quality employees tostaff various positions. Act as primary driver of hourly/salary recruitment andretention activities to include. development of staffing plans and thegrowth of recruitment sources; analyze data to improve quality ofrecruitment sources. Partnering with Human Resources and operational leaders tosupport workforce planning and organizational effectiveness. Ensure compliance with federal, state, and local employment laws. Maintain knowledge of employment regulations such as FMLA,ADA, PFML, FLSA, EEO and OSHA. Act as first line liaison with employees, facilitatingresolution of employee concerns. HR Metrics and Reporting: Analyze HR data to identify trendsand recommend solutions to management. Participates in the overview of performance reviews andreviews career plans for employees in conjunction with their direct reports. Participate in the overview of full-cycle payroll process andrecord keeping ensuring accuracy and timeliness. Assist with benefits enrollment (medical, dental, voluntarybenefits, vacation, sick time, paid holidays) and be contact foret employee benefits questions. Assist with salary administration and compensation analysis. Participates in strategic HR planning. Provide guidance to the HR Recruiter.

EDUCATION, EXPERIENCE, & SKILLS

Bachelor’s degree — in Human Resources, Business Administration,Management, Organizational Psychology, or a related field. 5–7+ years of broad HR experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills The ability to effectively write complex communications Highly organized, self-motivated with the ability to prioritizeeffectively and manage time well Ability to successfully work in a team environment Exceptional attention to detail and accuracy Proven critical thinking and project management skills with anattention to detail and strong time-management Proficiency in using MS Windows applications (i.e., Word, Excel,and PowerPoint).
