THE OPPORTUNITY

We are looking for an experienced delivery leader to formalize and lead our Project Management Office, bringing structure, consistency, and scalability to a delivery function that is ready to mature. This is a high-impact, highly visible role for someone who has done this before, knows what a right-sized PMO looks like, can assess what is working, and lead a team of Project Managers through a period of meaningful operational change.

You will play a central role in our delivery function, partnering with our Director of Delivery on how implementations are staffed and run, how we support clients after they go live, and how we plan our workforce to stay ahead of a dynamic pipeline. While this role may include direct project involvement, its primary focus is building the system within which great project management happens.

WHAT YOU WILL OWN

Building and leading the PMO:

• Establish a right-sized PMO that brings consistency, accountability, and scalability to our implementation delivery function
• Define andmaintaina standardized implementation playbook, including themethodology, templates, and tools your teamoperateswithin
• Lead, develop, and advocate for a team of Project Managers; set the standard for delivery excellence across the portfolio
• Serve as the primary escalation path for your PMs when they hit blockers they cannot resolve independently
• Define and oversee a structured client handoff process that ensures implementations transition to the support tier in a stable and healthy state
• Establish delivery metrics and provide leadership with proactive, reliable visibility into portfolio health and risk

Staffing model and capacity planning:

• Evaluate the current PM staffing model and design a scalable solution that handles increased implementation volume without a proportional increase in senior PM headcount
• Maintain a forward-looking view of the implementation pipeline and translate it into concrete staffing needs and risk scenarios
• Develop your team's versatility so that individuals can contribute across product lines when demand fluctuates
• Build relationships with other product line leaders toidentifycross-product deployment opportunities for your team

WHAT WE ARE LOOKING FOR

• You have built or significantly scaled a PMO in a SaaS or professional services environment and know what works and what to avoid
• You have led teams of Project Managers and know how to develop practitioners, not just manage delivery
• You think about capacity at a function level and have done workforce planning, modeled headcount scenarios, and presented recommendations to executive leadership
• You can influence without authority, building cross-functional relationships and creating alignment across teams you do not directly own
• You are pragmatic about process and build structure that enables your team, not bureaucracy that slows them down
• You have managed complex, long-cycle enterprise implementations (12+ months); experience with government or regulated industry clients is a plus

WHAT SUCCESS LOOKS LIKE IN YEAR ONE

• The PMOmethodologyisestablished, adopted by the PM team, and visibly improving delivery consistency across active implementations
• Implementations are transitioning to the support tier through a defined handoff process, with clients in a stable and healthy state at the point of transition
• Project Managers areoperatingwithin a consistent framework, spending more time on client delivery and less on administrative burden
• The PM staffing model has beenassessedand a clear plan is in place for scaling delivery capacity without reactive hiring
• Cross-product relationships are in place and at least one PM has been successfully deployed to support another product line implementation
• An 18-month workforce plan has been developed in collaboration with the Director of Delivery and presented to leadership
• The delivery function isoperatingin close collaboration with Product Owners and Product Managers across the organization, consistently delivering customer-focused outcomes
• Leadership is receiving regular, forward-looking visibility into delivery capacity and pipeline risk, rather than updates triggered by problems
