Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive assessments of clients' mental and emotional well-being through virtual consultations.

• Evaluate a client's history, presenting issues, personal goals, and established needs to develop effective, personalized treatment plans.

• Provide engaging individual therapy sessions tailored to clients of all ages, addressing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship issues.

• Facilitate couples therapy sessions aimed at cultivating healthier communication, resolving conflicts, and strengthening bonds.
\n
• Adapt therapy strategies based on ongoing assessments and client feedback to ensure effective progress.

• Maintain meticulous documentation of client interactions, progress notes, treatment plans, and case histories in compliance with legal and ethical standards.

• Collaborate regularly with a multidisciplinary team and other healthcare professionals to offer well-rounded support to clients.

• Respond to crises with appropriate interventions and provide ongoing support for clients in acute distress.

• Keep abreast of advancements in mental health practices to ensure the highest quality care.

• Participate in continuous education and professional development programs to refine therapeutic techniques.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

This role entails working with a diverse range of clients, including adolescents, adults, and couples, each presenting unique challenges. The therapist will help individuals navigate personal struggles, relationship issues, and broader mental health challenges, ensuring all clients feel valued, understood, and supported. By incorporating evidence-based practices into care, you will significantly contribute to the overall improvement of clients' mental health and quality of life.

Qualifications\n

• Must possess an active and independent license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in California.

• A Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) is also an acceptable qualification.
\n
• Strong oral and written communication skills necessary for effective client engagement and documentation.
\n
• Competence in navigating teleconferencing and electronic health record systems.

Preferred Experience\n

• At least one year of direct clinical experience providing therapy, whether in individual or couples settings.

• Demonstrated comfortability with a variety of therapeutic methodologies and flexibility in adapting approaches to meet clients’ needs.
