Work Environment

This full-time position operates onsite within our innovative facility where our team consists of two experienced physical therapists and one physical therapy assistant (PTA). Our work hours are structured from Monday to Friday, 9 AM to 5 PM, allowing for a consistent schedule that promotes a healthy work-life balance.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments to identify patient needs and set personalized therapeutic objectives.
• Manage a caseload efficiently, typically handling one patient per hour, ensuring quality and individualized care.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans utilizing a variety of evidence-based techniques.
• Employ manual therapy techniques and exercise regimens designed to enhance patient strength and mobility.
• Monitor patient progress meticulously, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to achieve optimal outcomes.
• Document treatment sessions comprehensively to maintain accurate patient records and enhance care continuity.
• Collaborate with a multi-disciplinary team of healthcare professionals to optimize patient management and outcomes.
• Inspire and motivate patients throughout their treatment journey, emphasizing an active role in their recovery process.
• Advocate for a healthy lifestyle by incorporating fitness and wellness programs tailored to individual patient requirements.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will be working primarily with patients in an outpatient orthopedic setting, which includes individuals recovering from surgeries, injuries, and chronic pain conditions. Our clients range from active individuals seeking rehabilitation to patients needing preventive care strategies to enhance their quality of life. Your role is vital in addressing their needs and tailoring interventions that align with their functional objectives.

Qualifications

• A Bachelor's degree in Physical Therapy or a related field; Doctorate in Physical Therapy (DPT) is preferred.
• Valid certification as a licensed Physical Therapist in California.
• Demonstrated knowledge of therapeutic techniques, particularly in orthopedic rehabilitation.
• Strong communication skills, with a focus on patient interaction and interdisciplinary collaboration.
• A clean record with no prior disciplinary actions or board complaints against licensure.

Preferred Experience

• Prior experience as a Physical Therapist in outpatient orthopedic settings, providing hands-on care.
• Familiarity with Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems, specifically WebPT or similar platforms.
• Experience in manual therapy techniques and physical fitness training.

Compensation and Benefits
