Intake Coordinator — M&A Law Firm, P.C.

Schaumburg, Illinois | Onsite | $45,000–$50,000 per year, based on experience

M&A Law Firm, P.C. is looking for a motivated, personable Intake Coordinator to join our team. This role is the first point of contact for prospective clients and plays a direct role in the firm's growth.

What you'll do

• Serve as the first point of contact for prospective clients, with empathy, professionalism, and clear communication
• Listen actively, document legal issues, and follow up on leads by phone and email
• Send engagement letters and collect retainer payments
• Manage consultation scheduling and keep case files organized in our case management system
• Use Lawmatics to track client interactions
• Follow up on unpaid retainers
• Participate in team meetings and strategic planning
• Help refine processes that protect our client review ratings, even when a prospect doesn't convert

What we're looking for

• Some college preferred
• Prior sales or customer service experience, law firm setting preferred
• Strong typing and general computer skills, comfortable with office software
• Excellent verbal and written communication
• Excellent attention to detail
• A people person who's genuinely empathetic when dealing with clients in delicate situations
• Legal industry familiarity is a plus, not required

Compensation and benefits

• $45,000–$50,000 per year, based on experience
• Incentive structure tied to retainer agreements signed per month
