Accounting Assistant
CFS is paired with a real estate property management firm in Boston, MA looking to add an Accounting Assistant to their team.
About the Company Seeking an Accounting Assistant:
- Founded over thirty years ago, this company helps with all parts of the commercial real estate business from construction, to property management, to property marketing
- The growth they are experiencing is in line with current projections for the Boston area; this is a stably growing entity
- The role has a mix of accounts receivable and accounts payable activities and can expand as this person grows
- Hybrid working environment
Responsibilities of the Accounting Assistant:
- Process cash applications for assigned properties
- Reconcile payments to tenant portfolios
- Maintain deposit tracking
- Communicate with property accounting team and tenants
- Support accounts payable check runs
- Other ad hoc projects as necessary
Qualifications for the Accounting Assistant:
- 3-5 years experience in accounts receivable cash applications functions
- Bachelors degree in Accounting or Finance, or experience equivalent (+4 years)
- Experience in property management or real estate is a plus
Salary range: $55,000 63,000
