Key Responsibilities\n

• Conduct comprehensive mental health assessments to gauge psychological well-being and craft individualized treatment strategies based on patient needs.

• Develop treatment plans that are patient-centered and adapt therapeutic interventions accordingly, utilizing modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and psychodynamic approaches.

• Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions, focusing on fostering personal growth, emotional stability, and enhanced coping mechanisms for various life challenges.

• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team that includes psychiatrists and other health professionals to provide cohesive, integrated care.

• Provide crisis intervention support during mental health emergencies, ensuring immediate and appropriate responses to urgent situations.

• Educate patients and their families on managing mental health conditions, treatment options, and access to community resources, thereby empowering them in their recovery journey.

• Maintain meticulous and confidential patient records, ensuring compliance with state and federal regulations as well as ethical standards in mental health care.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The therapist will work primarily with a diverse population of individuals facing various psychological issues, including but not limited to anxiety disorders, mood disorders, trauma responses, and personality disorders. The role requires a compassionate understanding of these conditions and a commitment to improving the mental well-being of patients from different backgrounds.

Qualifications\n

• A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Texas.

• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders and trauma-informed care practices.

• Excellent skills in conducting thorough mental health assessments, formulating accurate diagnoses, and creating effective treatment plans tailored to individual patient needs.

• Demonstrated ability to deliver both individual and group therapy utilizing multiple therapeutic approaches.

Preferred Experience\n
