Litigation Associate Attorney

LHH is assisting a highly regarded boutique litigation firm in its search for a Litigation Associate to join its fast-paced, multi-faceted litigation practice group. This is an excellent opportunity for an attorney seeking sophisticated litigation work, trial exposure, direct client interaction, and a clear path toward partnership. The successful candidate will work alongside a highly experienced team of partners, senior counsel, and associates known for their collaborative approach and commitment to client service excellence. The practice handles a diverse range of commercial, regulatory, and litigation matters for clients across multiple industries. Position Overview The Litigation Associate will play a key role in all phases of litigation and dispute resolution, from case assessment through trial preparation. Representative responsibilities include: Drafting motions, briefs, pleadings, and other litigation-related documents Managing discovery in complex litigation matters Conducting legal research and analysis Developing litigation strategy alongside senior attorneys Participating in client counseling and case management Communicating directly with clients, opposing counsel, and courts Supporting commercial, regulatory, and other complex litigation matters Candidate Requirements At least 3 years of transferable litigation experience Significant experience with litigation procedure, motion practice, and discovery management Exceptional academic credentials Excellent legal research, writing, and analytical skills Strong communication and interpersonal skills Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines Commitment to outstanding client service and community involvement Juris Doctor (JD) from an accredited law school Active California Bar admission in good standing Must reside in California This partnership track position offers: Sophisticated and varied litigation experience Direct mentorship from experienced litigation attorneys A collaborative and team-oriented environment Long-term professional growth and advancement opportunities Hybrid work flexibility Salary Range: $230,000 - $300,000 annually An individual's actual compensation will depend on qualifications, experience, skills, and other relevant factors.
