Located 20 minutes from downtown Pittsburgh, we are proudly carry-on Pittsburgh's industrial traditions by creating and building our products in the U.S. Tri-Arc is an industry leader with the widest variety and highest quality products, tailored to the needs of our customers to operate safely and efficiently.Tri-Arc is seeking steel MIG welders for 1st shift (6:00 am to 2:30 pm) and 2nd shift (2:30 pm to 11:00 pm - additional $0.60 per hour) for our plant located in Blawnox, PA. Tri-Arc offers a competitive starting rate of $24.33 (1st shift) and $24.93 (2nd Shift). Tri-Arc also offers a generous benefit package, and the right candidate(s) will have the opportunity to join the United Steelworkers Union after completing 520 probationary hours. All candidates are required to take and pass a welding test and bring their own welding gear. Join us!Job ResponsibilitiesSet up, operate, or tend welding machines that join or bond components to fabricate metal products or assemblies.Assemble, align, and clamp workpieces into holding fixtures to bond, heat-treat, or solder fabricated metal components.Lays out, positions, aligns, and fits components together (usually in fixtures).Bolts, clamps, and tack-welds parts to secure in position for welding.Reads job specifications to determine machine adjustments and material requirements.Sets up equipment and welds parts, using MIG welding equipment.Assembles parts by bolting and riveting.Operates various punch presses, drill presses, shears, saws, and tube bending equipment.Repairs products by dismantling, straightening, reshaping, and reassembling parts.Experience:Welding: 6 months to 1 year
