Role Description The Leasing Specialist is a full-time, on-site role located in Charleston, SC, responsible for supporting the community’s leasing and resident experience goals. Day-to-day responsibilities include greeting prospects, conducting property tours, explaining lease terms, and guiding applicants through the leasing process. The Leasing Specialist will handle lease administration tasks such as processing applications, preparing lease documents, and ensuring accurate records in property management systems. The role also involves delivering responsive customer service, building positive resident relationships, promoting resident retention programs, and collaborating with the onsite team to meet occupancy and revenue targets. This position requires consistent on-site presence, including weekends or evenings as needed, to support prospect and resident needs. Qualifications Strong customer service and resident retention skills, with a focus on building positive, long-term resident relationships. Experience with leases and lease administration, including processing applications, preparing lease documents, and maintaining accurate records. Effective communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact professionally with residents, prospects, and team members. Previous experience in multifamily leasing, property management, or a related customer-facing role is preferred. Ability to work on-site full time in Charleston, SC, including flexibility for weekends and occasional evenings. Proficiency with basic computer applications and property management or CRM software is beneficial. Strong organizational and time-management abilities, with attention to detail and follow-through.
