Job Title: Business Development Manager – Skilled Trades Staffing

Position Overview:

TradeCorp is seeking a driven and results-oriented Business Development Manager to expand our presence across Tampa Bay. This is a remote role, but candidates must be based in the Tampa Bay area, as the position requires regular in-person client visits and field sales activity. When not meeting with clients, you will work from your home office.

Key Responsibilities:

• Identify, prospect, and develop new business opportunities within the skilled trades market
• Build and maintain strong relationships with contractors, construction firms, and industrial clients
• Conduct in-person meetings, site visits, and presentations to potential and existing clients
• Collaborate with internal recruiting teams to ensure client needs are met with qualified talent
• Manage the full sales cycle from lead generation to closing and account management
• Track activity, pipeline, and performance using CRM tools
• Stay informed on local market trends and competitor activity

Qualifications:

• 2+ years of experience in staffing sales, B2B sales, or related field (staffing industry preferred)
• Strong knowledge or interest in skilled trades (construction, electrical, HVAC, manufacturing, etc.)
• Proven track record of generating new business and closing deals
• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and relationship-building skills
• Must be based in the Tampa Bay area and willing to travel locally for client meetings
