Shape the academic journey for students with diverse needs by taking on an impactful Special Education teaching role in the greater Phoenix/Glendale area. Multiple contract opportunities are open immediately through May 2027, with both full-time and part-time schedules available to fit your expertise and availability. These positions are designed for educators passionate about fostering growth in a supportive, inclusive environment.

Openings span several elementary sites and include: self-contained classrooms for behavioral programs (preferably with CPI certification), cross-category placements for students in the MID cognitive range (primarily 2nd grade), kindergarten and 2nd grade autism programs, a special needs preschool classroom (requiring or preferring EC and SPED certification), and part-time resource teacher roles. All positions are fully onsite and provide a variety of experiences—from early childhood education to behavior-focused interventions.

Qualifications & Desired Experience:

• Active SPED Educator Certification and IVP FP Card required
• Experience in behavioral classrooms and CPI certification preferred for behavior program roles
• Early Childhood (EC) certification or experience valued for preschool positions
• Strong classroom management, adaptability, and communication skills
• Commitment to inclusive, student-centered instructional practices
• Ability to collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, families, and support staff

Key Responsibilities:

• Deliver tailored instruction based on students’ Individualized Education Plans (IEPs)
• Maintain thorough records of progress and compliance documentation
• Foster a positive, safe, and engaging classroom community
• Coordinate with counselors, therapists, and school administrators
• Participate in parent meetings, staff development, and ongoing training
