Key Responsibilities\n

• Act as the primary point of contact for families, nurturing open communication to ensure alignment on treatment goals.

• Conduct individual, family, and group therapy sessions utilizing the Newport Healthcare’s clinical model and the Attachment-Based Family Therapy approach.
\n
• Facilitate engaging Family Orientations, Welcome Presentations, and Family Support Groups, creating a warm environment for family members to engage in the therapeutic process.
\n
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation, including assessments, treatment plans, progress notes, and discharge summaries as per established clinical standards.
\n
• Utilize various tools such as Microsoft Word, Outlook, and electronic medical records (EMR) systems for data entry and communication.
\n
• Participate actively in weekly treatment team meetings, staff meetings, and clinical supervision to discuss case progress and strategies.
\n
• Represent Momenta Psychotherapy Services at relevant meetings, trainings, and conferences, contributing to the dissemination of knowledge and the advancement of our clinical practices.

• Effectively manage your calendar and schedule to balance client sessions, administrative tasks, and professional development.

Patient Population / Client Focus\n

The focus of your clinical work will primarily be adolescents and young adults grappling with a range of challenges, including mental health issues, substance abuse problems, eating disorders, and trauma-related concerns. Your expertise will be instrumental in guiding these individuals and their families toward resilience and recovery.

Qualifications\n

• A Master's Degree in counseling, psychology, social work, or a related field from an accredited or state-approved graduate school is required.

• Current board registration (such as APCC, LAPC, ASW, AMFT, or MHCA) or status as a Psychological Associate in the state of Virginia.

• A strong background in providing therapy to adolescents and young adults, with a specific focus on individual, group, or family therapy.

• Experience with diverse treatment modalities, especially in addressing mental health issues, substance abuse, trauma-informed practices, and working with eating disorders.

Compensation and Benefits\n
